In my opinion, the best period for movies was the 1980’s as you had many types of amazing quality movies such as Big blockbusters like Return of the Jedi Back, and Back to The Future to Dramas like the Breakfast Club and Pretty and Pink to Comedies like Police Academy and Sixteen Candles.
The following list is my opinion of the top 100 best movies from the 1980s.
From my list, you can see it is an eclectic list with a preference for John Hughes movies as well as fantasy/Sci-Fi. On my list, John Hughes has #1 and #2 as well as 3 in the top 15 and 4 in the top 25, and 8 in the top 100. What can I say? I am a huge John Hughes fan, and his resume of great 80’s movies speaks for itself!

Looking for a job and creating a resume is a daunting task that requires a lot of time and energy. Just the time alone to create an effective professional resume is very tiresome. I believe part of the process of looking for a job; you must be in a positive state of mind. A great recommendation is to unwind during your job hunting and do an activity like watching a good movie, especially one of these 100 from the 1980s.
